The Connecticut basketball coach announced in 2003 that he was fighting prostate cancer. The then 60-year-old decided to get surgery to treat his low-grade cancer. In 2008, Calhoun was also diagnosed with a form of skin cancer – squamous cell carcinoma, which he was successfully treated for. Jim is now 74 years old. Source Ranker
