Recent data reviewing ProstaCaid, a dietary supplement compound for prostate health, was presented by Dr. Daniel Silva, PhD, senior investigator with the Cancer Research Laboratory at Methodist Research Institute of Indiana University Health, during the 9th International Conference of Anticancer Research in Sithonia, Greece.
ProstaCaid is designed to enhance prostate cellular and immune health, gentle liver detoxification and healthy hormonal balance. Several published studies have already shown this formula’s safety, potency and efficacy in superior prostate health maintenance against specific prostate cancer cell lines and prostate urinary symptoms.
Furthermore, its research formula (which is vegan safe and allergen free) has been shown to provide effective results on both hormone dependent and hormone insensitive prostate cells, with higher doses of ProstaCaid supporting a holistic program for active prostate support, and lower doses providing a daily complement for prolonged prostate health.
Dr. Silva’s presentation focused on published research results demonstrating the efficacy of ProstaCaid in prostate health support, in the presence of different cancer cells lines. Importantly, this formula was shown to increase favorable gene expression involved in prostate health.
Included in the presentation was a retrospective study on ProstaCaid, which analyzed 75 men suffering from lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).
Researchers assessed the symptoms before and after ProstaCaid administration and saw a significant clinical improvement in symptoms such as frequency of urination, incomplete bladder emptying, weak stream and straining, upon supplement ingestion.
This particular clinical study validated the efficiency of administering ProstaCaid to individuals suffering from LUTS.
“The impact of ProstaCaid in laboratory and clinical settings has been impressive,” said Dr. Sliva in a press release. “Ongoing research on botanical agents holds a great deal of promise for maintaining prostate health, providing hope for men who have, or are at serious risk of developing prostate cancer.”
ProstaCaid was developed by integrative medicine pioneer and researcher, Isaac Eliaz, MD, MS. “A combination of natural, safe, non-toxic, herbal and nutritional ingredients backed by published research offers critical support for prostate health,” explained Dr. Eliaz. “Research has shown that ProstaCaid is safe and effective at reducing prostate tumor development in mice, particularly in cancers that demonstrate resistance to common treatments. There is an urgent need to progress to further clinical trials.”
