According to E News, Joe Simpson, dad to Hollywood stars Jessica and Ashlee, has undergone treatment for prostate cancer. The 58-year-old announced that he was diagnosed with the disease two months ago and is now in recovery following prostate cancer surgery.

Ben Stiller recently announced that he too had undergone surgery and treatment for prostate cancer. 

Simpson, who managed the early careers of both of his daughters, says he is ready to return to work as a photographer and is about to travel to Japan for a photo shoot. Friends of Simpson say he is feeling great and is completely optimistic about his future health, and is thankful for the support of his friends and family.
