Not all prostate cancers are the same. Some are more aggressive than others so may need a more aggressive and deeper treatment than other. Some actually may not need any treatment and just by monitoring it carefully, you should be OK. In this video shared by Prostate Cancer Live, watch Dr. Bevan-Thomas, Medical Director, Prostate Cancer Live, USMD Prostate Cancer Center, Texas, talk about active surveillance, what the treatment is about and which types of cancer patients should choose active surveillance as a treatment.
