2. Ask Questions Before Participating in a Clinical Trial
Regardless of the benefits, it’s normal for prostate cancer patients to feel nervous about participating in a clinical trial. It’s important to ask the right questions before enrolling in any trial. There are key questions to ask about the trial and the treatment, but patients should feel free to ask study coordinators any additional questions they may have to ensure their concerns are well addressed before the trial starts.

I am in a clincal trial now for an added procedure as part of HDR brachytherapy. I like the idea of trying something new that will benefit others down the road.
