George Karl
George Karl was coaching the Denver Nuggets basketball team in 2005 when he was diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer from which he made a full recovery. However, Karl’s health continued to be plagued by cancer. In 2010 he was diagnosed with neck cancer and earlier this year the 65-year-old announced that he was being treated for throat cancer.
